Watch Out for This (Bumaye)

}}
"Watch Out for This (Bumaye)" is an international 2013 hit single from Major Lazer, a musical project by DJ and music producer Diplo, taken from his album ''Free the Universe''. It features dancehall vocalist Busy Signal and producers The Flexican and FS Green〔(Major Lazer - Watch Out For This (Bumaye) Ft. Busy Signal, The Flexican & FS Green ) by FS GREEN on SoundCloud〕 and was released on Diplo's Mad Decent label and the French Because Music label.
The song is a vocal version of the song "Bumaye"〔(The Flexican & FS Green - Bumaye (Original Version) ) by The Flexican on SoundCloud〕 by The Flexican and FS Green, from The Flexican's 2011 release ''Yours Truly: The Mixtape Part II'', which itself is a redux of the 2005 song of the same name originally by The Flexican and Typhoon.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.discogs.com/Flexican-Made-in-da-Shade-Kings/release/1477685 )〕 "Bumaye",〔(The Flexican feat. Typhoon's Bumaye sample of Willie Colón and Rubén Blades's Maria Lionza ) | WhoSampled〕 as well as "Watch Out for This (Bumaye)",〔(Major Lazer feat. Busy Signal, The Flexican and FS Green's Watch Out for This (Bumaye) sample of Willie Colón and Rubén Blades&'s Maria Lionza ) | WhoSampled〕 contains a sample of the song "María Lionza" by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades from their 1978 album ''Siembra'' and "Carnaval de Arequipa",〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX4ykV5jgw8 )〕 written by the author Benigno Ballón Farfán from Perú. A remix version of the song features Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee.
A remix EP was released for free in June 2013, featuring a variety of remixes and cover versions. Later, a remix by Flinch and a VIP remix by Ape Drums & 2Deep were both released for free.
The song was featured in trailers for French film ''Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au Bon Dieu?'', and was certified platinum in France by the UPFI in 2013.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Palmarès 2013 des certifications UPFI )
In May 2015, the Peruvian music researcher Pepe Ladd issued a video in the web called "Watch out for this - The Original from Jorge Huirse". It shows clearly, that the songs Maria Lionza, Bumaye and Watch out for this contain a long extract from the song "El Balsero del Titicaca", composed in 1945 by the Peruvian musician Jorge Huirse.

The music video was filmed in Kingston, Jamaica by Jay Will (Game Over). It features various dancers performing typically Caribbean dance styles as well as twerking. It also shows Busy Signal performing.
